Sayro — Terms of Service

Sayro is the Sayro app for Android and iOS and the website at sayro.in. By using Sayro you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

Who can use Sayro

You must be at least 18 years old. One account per person. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

What Sayro does

You upload a photo, choose a style, and Sayro generates a new image from it. Generation is performed by a third-party AI model. Results are unpredictable by nature: we cannot promise a particular outcome, likeness, or quality, and a generation may fail or be refused by the model's safety systems.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos you upload and the images Sayro generates for you. You grant us a licence to store, process and display them only so far as it takes to run Sayro — including sending your photo to our AI provider to generate a result, and showing images you have chosen to share to the people allowed to see them. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other people legitimately made before then.

Only upload photos you have the right to use. If a photo shows someone else, you must have their permission. Do not upload photos of other people without their consent, and never of a child.

Styles, prompts and reuse

A style is a reusable instruction for generating images. Its text is never shown to anyone — including people who use it.

• Publishing a style lets others apply it to their own photos. You cannot un-ring that bell for images already made; hiding or deleting a style stops future use, and images already generated with it remain their makers' own.
• You can publish a style only from a creation made from your own description. Sayro's built-in styles and other people's styles can't be published as yours.
• Sayro's built-in styles and their underlying instructions remain our property.

Acceptable use — zero tolerance

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content. You must not create, upload, share or publish anything that:

• is sexual content involving minors, or sexualises a minor in any way;
• is sexual or intimate imagery of a real person created or shared without their consent;
• depicts or promotes violence, terrorism, or self-harm;
• harasses, bullies, threatens, or promotes hatred against a person or group;
• impersonates a real person, or is designed to deceive people about who someone is or what they did;
• infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or likeness rights;
• is spam, a scam, or malware.

Reporting. Every published style and every user profile has a report action, and you can block any user to stop seeing what they share. We review reports and may remove content, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts. We do not require you to contact the other person first.

Coins

Coins are what generating an image costs. New accounts start with some, and you can buy more.

Coins are not money. They are a prepaid credit for use inside Sayro only. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred to another account, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be sold or exchanged outside the app.

Buying coins. Coin packs are sold through Google Play or the Apple App Store, inside the apps (not on the website), and those purchases are governed by that store's terms as well as these. The store takes the payment — we never see or hold your card details. The price you are shown is the store's own price for your country, including any tax it collects.

Coins do not expire, and we will not take away coins you have already paid for.

What a generation costs can change. We may change the number of coins a generation costs, or what a pack contains, as the underlying costs change. A change applies from when we make it — coins already in your balance keep the value they had when you bought them.

There is a daily limit on how many images one account can generate, to keep the service working for everyone. Hitting it does not cost coins.

Refunds. Coins are consumable and are added to your balance once the store confirms the purchase, so they are not refundable once bought, except where the law where you live requires otherwise or the store's own refund policy applies. Refunds are handled by the store, not by us — contact Google Play or Apple. If a purchase is refunded we record it, and coins you have already spent on images you already received are not reversed.

Coins earned from your styles. Sayro may show coins earned when other people use a style you published. Those are a credit inside the app on the same terms as any other coin, and nothing about them is a promise of future cash payment.

Ending your use

You may delete your account at any time in Settings, in the app or on the website. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, and for serious breaches — particularly anything in the zero-tolerance list — we will do so immediately and without warning.

No warranty, and our liability

Sayro is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated images will suit any particular purpose. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Sayro after that means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
